About the Enneagram

“Helping people connect with their authentic core and live in alignment with their highest purpose is my top priority. The Enneagram helps us engage enthusiastically with life by revealing the ways we overshadow ourselves and illuminating our clarity, passion, and ability to act to the greatest advantage to self and others.”

S’Marie

What is it, why use it?

The Enneagram is a dynamic system that meets the individual where they are, continually leading into deeper levels of transformation, and the power of choice in our life.

How does it work?

It reveals underlying motivations and patterns of behavior between people and even teams. Far beyond typology, the Enneagram maps guideposts that breakthrough barriers to success.

We gain self-awareness, clarity, compassion, and the ability to act for the highest good. It shows us how we’ll predictably behave and how blind spots will consistently limit our strengths. Blind spots are the things that other people notice about us that we don’t see in ourselves.

Why should we care?

Because it negatively impacts our ability to be influential and get where we truly want to be. Learning about ourselves and others through the nine styles of personality is one of the best ways to build emotional intelligence (EQ).

Discovering one’s Enneagram style provides a focused approach to self-development.

In the workplace, the Enneagram promotes a culture of responsibility, engagement, and collaboration through conscious leadership by providing a structure to gain skillful leadership competencies for powerful results.

Self-actualization is evolving to a global perspective that embodies the outstanding qualities of all nine Enneagram styles.

“S’Marie Young has told a compelling narrative that brings together her journey into meditation and the powerful concepts of the head, heart and body intelligence from the Enneagram. Emergence A Path to Presence weaves together her own personal story of discovery and the experience of essence with knowledge from the Enneagram and the wisdom traditions.”
Denise Daniels, PhD

Enneagram Teacher/Author and daughter of David N. Daniels, M.D. one of the founding fathers of today’s Enneagram

Emergence is an honest and courageous examination of the author’s life that represents the transformative power of bringing to light our personal and collective history. S’Marie’s experiences serve to unite us and reignite our own souls’ journey. This book is both an inspiration and a guide for those who want to journey within and come into deeper contact with themselves. I was touched by the universality of the stories of personal evolution, and the courage it takes to bring them forward.
